I wish an API….

Today I tried to get into mscape (2.1). It’s a shame there’s no API and the scripting is very limited. Even the GPS data is only readable, so you can’t use any filter (PLEASE correct me if I’ve missed something). It seems the only chance to use it’s media mapping is via the .msl file which is an xml where all locations, coordinates, codeblocks, …etc. are described.

GPS gets more and more interesting when looking deep inside. Now studying all the specifications, data codes and the “how-it-works”. Here I found a good link where are the specifications of the NMEA protocol.
